Baska Bite Block for Trans-Oesophageal Echo (TOE)

The Baska Bite Block for Trans-Oesophageal Echo (TOE) is a self-retaining bite block designed for use during trans-oesophageal echocardiography procedures.

The TOE configuration features a larger 20 mm lumen to accommodate the TOE probe while incorporating the adjustable positioning and integrated advanced oxygen delivery system of the Baska Bite Block range.

Features

Designed for TOE procedures
The larger lumen provides a protected pathway for the trans-oesophageal echo probe during insertion and use.

Integrated oxygen delivery
The Baska Bite Block incorporates an advanced oxygen delivery system that directs oxygen towards the pharynx. Oxygen flow can be adjusted according to real-time pulse oximetry readings.

Secure, self-retaining design
The retention tab helps secure the bite block behind the teeth and prevents displacement. An adjustable stem and ratchet mechanism allow the device to be secured at the required depth.

Adjustable insertion depth
The adjustable stem incorporates a ratchet mechanism that allows it to be secured at the required depth while maintaining an unobstructed pathway for oxygen delivery.

Dental protection
Silicone rubber lining helps protect the patient’s teeth during the procedure.

Hands-free operation
Once positioned, the self-retaining design eliminates the need to manually hold the bite block during the procedure.
